It’s been a long and challenging one: in 20 years never have such beautiful olive trees, full of healthy green olives made such a small production of oil. Why? Is it the climate changing? It could be, as the olives were full of water rather than oil. Also it’s warm for December, so the trees are still vegetating. We are longing for the winter to come! Otherwise all the insects and bacteria will just hide under the soil and next year …..
