With a velvety and well balanced flavor with herbaceous and characteristic notes, they have a fleshy pulp, dark green color with violet-pink reflections typical of the volcanic islands.
Capers are very flexible: sprinkled on salads, they enhance fish and meat dishes and enrich various types of dishes. They must be desalted before use or in replacement of salt itself.
Origin: Aeolian Islands, Sicily – Italy. Ingredients: 76%capers, 24% sea salt.
