Granverde Cake with Poppy Seeds
Ingredients for six:
6,4 oz plain flour,
6,4 oz sugar,
1 pinch of bicarbonate of soda and 2 tbs baking powder,
3,5 oz Granverde oil,
2 tablespoons poppy seeds.
Use an electric whisk to whip the eggs with sugar in a deep pan until the mixture becomes white and foamy; mix the flour with the oil, add the baking powder, bicarbonate and poppy seeds, mixing well. Pour the mixture into an oiled and floured cake tin, preferably a round one with a hole in the middle. Bake in a preheated oven 180 °C for about 40 minutes.
